Your 3-step Guide for Value-Creating Blogs
Ever since time immemorial, content creators have been looking for the most essential element of a great blog post. So to put an end to this, I’ve narrowed it down for you.
In April of 2018, Forbes, a global media company that focuses on business, investment, technology, entrepreneurship and the likes, released a blog about The 8 Essential Elements of a Successful Blog Post. But what it comes down to are these three:
1. Match your Purpose and Persona – make your intent essential and value-driven. Partner it with the user-intent and let your target audience know what it is that they can get from the published content.
2. Be sure to Present Information – research is the most effective tool that you can use for this. It will answer the 5-W’s (Who, What, When, Where, Why) and most importantly it can provide a step by step knowledge to the great H (How). If you feel that you don’t have the needed expertise or the information you provide will fall short, don’t hesitate to contact qualified experts. Ask to interview them and present it clearly with your content.
3. Practice the Formula – great blog posts are hard to come by, but they have one thing in common… 80% informative and 20% conversion-centric. Make those call to action bring strategies to life!
The above elements of a great blog post proved to help content creators in providing readers with original content that is rarely available on the World Wide Web. These are the ones that are created by the heart and whose ideas and industry knowledge and expertise will prove to be useful in the years to come.
